This group covers the athletic clubs, gyms, recreation and community centers, sports complexes, parks and golf clubs that keep tennis courts alongside their main business. Jamestown is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jamestown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great.YMCA. They could use more automatic doors for those who need extra help. Their pool is wonderful and classes are great. They could reschedule the classes in swimming for children as they do interfer with swimming classes for adults. Their gym is filled with great machines and their walking trail upstairs is a nice addition.

I personally did not enjoy my experience here and decided to cancel my membership shortly after joining. I came mainly for a peaceful environment to clear my mind and use the pool, but the atmosphere just was not the right fit for me personally. I also experienced inconsistent communication regarding training information after being contacted by staff. During my visit, I felt uncomfortable because of the overall environment and interactions around me, including an unpleasant interaction with a woman who collects the volleyballs during a volleyball event that made me not want to return. I understand every place may not be for everyone, but I realized Iβm more comfortable in quieter, lower-traffic environments. Very much a waste of my precious time coming here

pretty good facility overall, but there are always creeps hanging out in the bathroom disregarding the delineation of the family side vs the adult changing rooms. don't let your kids go into the changing room by themselves. this is the #1 reason I stopped going there

This YMCA is not a family Y itβs a selective outrage YMCA to a selective group of people. I have a been going to this YMCA for over two years and never had a problem until yesterday son 12 was left in the gym with me being outside and now we are banned for 30 days. No warning no meeting nothing as a lifetime member of YMCA it used to be a family environment I could trust the workers as a kid and even had ones that treated me as their own. Now weβre here I pray the love is put back in the hearts of YMCA leaders at this location and understand yes we have to follow rules, we also have to make sure everyone is held to the same rules . I was informed this a rule thatβs is being enforced now. Looking for a family YMCA this may not be your best option. If you look somewhat like meππΎ Keep praying.

Have done and continue to use this location for some of everything. My kiddo has done the summer day camp here for years, since she was old enough, and will continue this year. This is an excellent program and the price for it weekly, coupled with the activities provided, makes for an excellent value relative to other summer options. Never mind that she loves it. We did swimming lessons here for several years and benefitted greatly from it. Progress was quick. Ragsdale YMCA is a great option for learning swim techniques, water safety, etc. My concerns as a parent with the aforementioned were met. Have used for youth sports (soccer) for a few seasons now and am happy with the exposure to the game and the atmosphere of it all. Organized. Continues to be an excellent institution and look forward to many more years of use.
